Job Posting: Fire Inspector

East Bethel is accepting applications for a Fire Inspector within the Fire Department. The Fire Inspector meets all the requirements of a firefighter and responds to emergency incidents, as well as assists the Fire Chief by providing information from building plan reviews and fire safety compliance inspections. Other responsibilities include manage and conduct code compliance inspections, public fire safety education, and cause-and-origin investigations for the Fire Department.

Minimum qualifications include: 2 years combined experience as a Firefighter or a Medical Responder, Fire Code/Plan Review Inspector; current valid Minnesota Driver’s License; current Firefighter II Minnesota State Certification; current Fire Inspector I Minnesota State Certification; current EMSRB Emergency Medical Responder; Minnesota State Firefighter License (within 30 days of hire).
