Job Posting: Registered Nurse

We are seeking RN's for 24/7 coverage of our NEW Psychiatric Residential Facility for youth. Shifts offered are 1.0 and .7 FTE

Promotes and restores residents’ health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to residents, friends, and families; supervising assigned team members. The candidate will love working with children/adolescent population and have extensive experience communicating with youth. We’re looking for a highly professional RN who is comfortable reassuring parents and communicating with doctors as well as tending to the needs of his or her residents. 3+ years’ nursing experience, preferably in a pediatric care facility

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required

Valid nursing license

Advanced knowledge of EMRs

Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.

Able to work well independently, good problem solving and decision making skills.

Excellent bedside manner, communication and organizational skills.

Ability to explain treatments and conditions to residents and families.
