Job Posting: Diesel Mechanic Postition

Central Truck Service, a family owned and operated repair shop is in need of a quality mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair semi-trucks & equipment

Perform DOT inspections and complete forms

Maintain an effective and clean work environment

Run diagnostic software and initiate repairs

Strong communication skills & ability to work as a team member or alone when needed

Ability to lift up to 100 Lbs.

Must have own tools

Engine rebuilding skills a plus

Requirements:

Experience with semi-truck & trailer and equipment repairs

Proficiency with diagnostic software

Willingness to research and interpret technical instructions

Class A license a plus but not required
