Highway 65 Blaine Business Information Meeting

– December 4th

MnDOT will host a business-focused informational meeting on the upcoming Highway 65 construction project in Blaine, scheduled to begin next spring. Join project staff to learn about the four-year plan between 97th Avenue and 125th Avenue/Main Street, including anticipated traffic and community impacts, project design, construction timelines, and what businesses can expect throughout the process.

2nd Annual East Bethel Christmas Tree Lighting

– December 5th

Join the EB Seniors, EB Lions Club, and the EB Bandits baseball team for a free community Christmas celebration on Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 6–8pm at the East Bethel Senior Center. Enjoy live music, s’mores, cookies, crafts, face painting, hot apple cider, hot chocolate, coffee, and a visit with Santa—plus the tree lighting at 7:00pm. A food truck will be on-site, and guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation for the local food shelf.

Member Renewal- Goldman’s Greenhouse

Goldeman’s Greenhouse, established in 1991, was started by Alan and Kris Goldeman with one small greenhouse, a strong work ethic and the gumption to attempt raising plants using chemical-free practices.
Goldeman’s Greenhouse found their niche and focused on growing high quality, annual and perennial potted plants. The business has turned into a family affair in the 30 years it has been in existence by incorporating Jared Goldeman, Jessica (Goldeman) Molin, and her husband Evan Molin into the operations. Goldeman’s Greenhouse now maintains over 17,500 square feet of plant material spanning 6 greenhouses. In 2019, Goldeman’s Greenhouse was open to the public for the first time, and expanded its offerings to include a retail store specializing in gardening tools and supplies, containers, clothing, and home décor. We hope to grow as a business and a staple in the community by educating others on the sustainability of chemical-free growing, and the positive impact that it has on the local ecosystems.
